The History of 247WOOD: From Custom Woodwork to Innovative Routing Templates
Origins and Development Founded in 2015 by two brothers with a shared passion for construction and tools, 247WOOD initially focused on selling custom wood products. However, it quickly became evident that there was a strong demand for routing templates, leading the company to fully specialize in designing and manufacturing these specialized tools.
Innovation and Material Choice In 2016, 247WOOD decided to discontinue custom wood sales and focus solely on producing routing templates. Initially made from wooden sheet material, the templates proved to be less durable and precise. This realization prompted a key innovation: the switch to high-quality, durable green plastic. This material offers superior precision, a longer lifespan, and greater ease of use—qualities we continue to prioritize to this day.
Sustainable Business Practices Sustainability is a core value at 247WOOD. We manufacture responsibly by using recyclable plastics and focusing on local production in the Netherlands. This approach minimizes transport distances, supports the local economy, and ensures you receive a responsible product of the highest quality.
