If your router bit cannot reach deep enough, you can always use this Wavecutter cylinder head drill bit to drill out the final section of, for example, the lock without the risk of slipping. Thanks to its centring point, you can easily drill holes close together.

Use the Wavecutter drill bit in combination with the Wavecutter extension to drill extra deep.
